Return Policy

At Maison California, we want you to feel as confident in your purchase as you do wearing it.
While we stand by the quality of every piece we create, we understand that sometimes an item may not meet your expectations.

You may return any unused and eligible product within 90 days of receiving your order.
However, please note that all returns are subject to inspection and approval — our goal is to ensure fairness and quality for every customer.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • The product must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.

  • All original tags, liners, and packaging must be intact.

  • The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.

Items showing signs of wear, washing, or alteration may be rejected at our discretion.
For hygiene reasons, certain items (such as intimate wear or accessories) may not be eligible for return unless defective.


How to Initiate a Return

To start your return, please email us at support@maisoncalifornia.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A short explanation of why you wish to return the item

  • Clear photos if the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect

Our Customer Care Team will review your request and guide you through the process.


Self-Service Return System

Once your return request is approved, you’ll receive a secure link to register your return.
You must provide a valid reason and sufficient supporting evidence.
We reserve the right to decline any return request that lacks adequate information or does not comply with our policy.

All items are subject to inspection upon arrival. After review, we will notify you by email of your refund or rejection status.


Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a confirmed error on our part (e.g., incorrect or defective item).

  • Once your return is approved, we’ll send you the return shipping cost for confirmation. After approval, we’ll issue your return link.

  • The return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund total.

Please note:

  • Delays caused by customs or carriers are beyond our control and not considered grounds for a refund.

  • Bundled items must be returned together. Individual items from a bundle cannot be returned separately.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, or you received the wrong color or size, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
In these cases, Maison California will cover the return shipping cost.


Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you via email of the approval or rejection.
If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days, minus any applicable return shipping cost.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, additional time may be required for the refund to appear in your account.
Refunds will only be issued for the product cost — shipping fees are non-refundable.


Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color, please contact support@maisoncalifornia.com.
Once approved, we will send you an invoice for the return shipping fee and any price difference if applicable.
After payment, you’ll receive a link to register your exchange.

Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will issue store credit via email so that you can place a new order.


Return Denial

Maison California reserves the right to deny returns or exchanges that do not meet the policy requirements.
This includes:

  • Items returned after the 90-day period

  • Products that appear worn, washed, or damaged

  • Returns sent to any address other than the one provided through our return portal

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted or refunded.
